How to make Moroccan Tea with fresh mint.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water

  • 4 tablespoons loose green tea leaves

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 4 whole cloves

  • 4 cardamom pods

  • 4 tablespoons sugar, or to taste

  • 1/4 teaspoon orange blossom water (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.

  2. Add the tea leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves, and cardamom pods. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Add the sugar and orange blossom water, if using, and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

  4. Strain the tea into a serving pot or individual cups.

  5. Serve hot, with small glasses or cups.

  6. Prepare the tea according to the recipe above, up until the point of adding the sugar and orange blossom water.

  7. While the tea is simmering, wash a small handful of fresh mint leaves and pat them dry.

  8. Just before serving the tea, add the mint leaves to the pot or cups.

  9. Pour the tea over the mint leaves and allow them to steep for a few minutes before serving.

  10. If desired, you can garnish each serving with an additional sprig of fresh mint.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
